What To Expect
Upon arrival, your safety and security are our top priorities. As part of our commitment to providing a safe environment for everyone, we conduct a respectful bag check.
Our trained and friendly staff members will request to inspect your bag as you enter the premises. This routine procedure is designed to ensure the well-being of all attendees and maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Please have your bag readily accessible for inspection, and feel free to ask our staff any questions or seek assistance during the process. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to create a secure and welcoming space for all participants.
The Cry Room, located in the back of the sanctuary, allows mothers to participate in the church service while attending to the care of their infants.
Services last one hour and thirty minutes. While our service can vary, our typical Sunday starts with worship and offering, leading into preaching of the Bible, and concludes with prayer and announcements.
After service, our congregation usually sticks around to enjoy family time with one another.
- Our worship is lively and plays contemporary styles of music.
- Our pastoral team considers the Bible to be the Word of God and are dedicated to sharing the Gospel each week.
- We believe God hears and answers our prayers.
- Our pastors and prayer ministry team are available after service to pray for any needs.
At the end of worship, we transition to the dismissal for children's church. We have all the kids (grade school and above) come to the altar to be prayed over before being dismissed.
Kids are split into groups (based on age/grade) that allows the teachers to provide age appropriate and engaging content for your child.

LOVE GOD… LEAD PEOPLE… TO LIVE A TRANFORMED LIFE
Love of Christ Fellowship (LOCF) Church exists to evangelize, disciple, train, equip and grow believers into mature obedient followers to Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see individuals experience the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ in a clear and simple way to grow and mature in Christlikeness.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually-regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (AMP)
WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible is the final authority in every area it addresses for every individual Christian, as well as for the church collectively. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, John 10:35)
WE BELIEVE
There is one God who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all things were created by Him and for Him. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:21-22, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 1:16)
WE BELIEVE
God the Son became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. That He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life (for He was without sin), died a substitutionary death for all mankind, was raised from the dead the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God until His enemies are made His footstool. (John 1:1, 14, Matthew 1:18-25, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Hebrews 10:12-13)
WE BELIEVE
The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells and seals every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He empowers us to live as witnesses for Christ. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to His church today. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-11, Titus 3:5-6, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:8, Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12-14, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
WE BELIEVE
That God created human beings, male and female, in His own image. He created them sinless, equal in value, dignity, and worth. According to His purpose and design, men and women are created to fulfill distinct but complementary roles in the contexts of marriage, family, and the local church. (Genesis 1:26-28, Ephesians 5:22-6:4, 1 Timothy 3:1-7)
WE BELIEVE
That, as a result of the Fall, all people are sinners by nature and in need of a Savior, and that Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of the world. That salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Him. We believe that all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved eternally. (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:18-19, Matthew 1:21, 1 John 4:14, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9)
WE BELIEVE
There is one church, the body of Christ, consisting of men and women from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. We believe that each local congregation is an expression of that universal church. (Ephesians 4:4, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Revelation 5:9, Acts 2:42-47)
WE BELIEVE
The Lord, Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church: the full-immersion water baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
WE BELIEVE
In a literal Heaven and a literal Hell and that all those who place their faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. Those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from the Lord (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 5:3, 5:22, 18:9, 25:31-34; Mark 9:42-49; Luke 12:5; John 3:18; Hebrews 12:23; I Peter 1:4; Revelation 14:10-11, 20:11-15).
WE BELIEVE
The church will be delivered from the “hour of trial” which will come upon all who dwell on the earth, being “caught up” in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (the Rapture). (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55, Revelation 3:10)
WE BELIEVE
The saints will return with Christ to the earth, at His Second Coming, to rule and reign with Him. (Jude 1:14, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 20:4)
WE BELIEVE
In the resurrection of the dead. Some will be raised to life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt (hell). We believe that God will create a new heaven and earth in which righteousness will dwell. We believe that the throne of God and the Lamb (Jesus Christ) will be established in the New Jerusalem forever. (Daniel 12:2, John 5:25-29, Revelation 21:1-22:5)
On October 26, 1996, the first official service of Love of Christ Fellowship was held at the Falls Clubhouse in Rancho Bernardo.
From its humble gatherings at the Falls Clubhouse, at a rented room in the Mira Mesa Recreation Center, and at the Allegro Dance Studio, Love of Christ Fellowship transitioned through several buildings throughout the years to accommodate its growing congregation until moving to its current location in 2016.
In 2019, Love of Christ Fellowship undergone an extensive renovation with the purpose of welcoming more people to join its community of Christ-followers. Through these seasons of growth, Love of Christ Fellowship demonstrated that the church was not the building but its people.
From the mid-1990s until today, Love of Christ Fellowship continues to be a thriving, family-focused church committed to all experiencing the love of Christ through the sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere.
